Hey gang, got another video for you!
There was a question on the forums about how to add the ClickBank hoplink to the Tumblr page. There is actually two ways to do this, and this short video I put together shows you both ways.
I hope this explains it for you and if it doesn’t please feel free to ask for clarification.
If you like the video please give this post and the YouTube page the Web 2.0 shuffle
Digg, Stumble, Favorite, etc you know the drill by now TDCers :p
This article was referenced in the Thirty Day Challenge forums, and I wanted to put a note about it up here. It is a pretty short and basic article, but the tips seem to be good ones to follow.
Check it out here.
Mindy Koch has made a video showing some tips and tricks that will enable you to get even more out of Firefox. I don’t know how I managed to miss this until now. This is a must see video!
Now i’ve been a Firefox user for quite some time now, but there are still a few things in there I never knew about. It really is an awesome video. Very well done and easy to follow.

If you are like me, you’ve been pretty bummed out lately with all the video content being in YouTube and not in iTunes. In may case it isn’t about the quality but rather about the convenience. With the content coming in over iTunes, I can just sync it to my iPod and then watch them on my lunch at work.
This quick video I made will show you how you can quickly and easily use a free program to get those YouTube videos into iTunes.

Week #1 in Review
Wow. That’s the first thing that pops into my head when I think about the last week in the Thirty Day Challenge. It has been exactly one week now, the challenge having started last Wednesday and all I can say is Wow.
Ok I take that back, it isn’t all I can say. This would be a pretty short post if that was the case. Wow is the highlight though for sure. One thing I find interestign is how much I am enjoying this so far. When I started the challenge I thought it would be good to do, educational, but that it would seem like work. So far however, i’m just having a blast doing it!
If you previously tried to view the videos but simply got a 404 error, please use the new link at the bottom of this post. I have placed the videos directly on one of my own sites.
As I promised a few days ago on the TDC forums, I have recorded a series of screencasts showing how I use the program EverNote to collect and store information during the Thirty Day Challenge.
Go easy on me, this is the first time I have ever done a screencast :p I found it exceptionally difficult to deal with the small screen size, and just trying not to ramble. Getting my thoughts to flow along in real time was interesting
Anyway without further rambling (there is enough of that in the video) here is the series on using EverNote with The Thirty Day Challenge. If you like these videos, please DIGG this post using the digg button, and stumble it and all that other good stuff by cliking the link “Liked It? Share It!”

Over on the TDC forums there has been a lot of talk about various resources for finding niches. Brainstorming resources, and tools to show you what’s popular. All of these tools are there to help you not only find ideas for niches but to see what is hot and what isn’t.
So without further adieu, let me compile everything for you.
If you check out nothing else on that list, check out #1, eHow. That is one of the most amazing websites i’ve come across in the last few years!
The Thirty Day Challenge is now officially a go!
Today we received our Day 1 training and started down our 30 day journey. Things have only just started and i’m already behind :) I’m still trying to catch up on all the pre-season stuff. I’m doing better than my partner though :0 I’m working together on this with my mother since we were both interested in starting on online business, and yesterday she was about brain fried trying to make sense out of all the new web concepts being thrown at here. I guess she’s never had any exposure to Web 2.0 so its all pretty overwhelming to her. At least this course finally got her to switch to Firefox. Something I have been trying to get her to do for nearly a year now.
Personally I am not too worried about falling behind in the pre-season stuff, as most of it is familiar to me and what isn’t I can get up to speed on pretty quick. As for the official day 1 training, it seems pretty light. One message in there seems to speak to my mom; Don’t Panic!
In this first day of training we were introduced to the four parts of internet marketing, as least as far as how we will be working. In order of importance, as well as just plain the order we will be doing them in, they are:
- Market Research
- Traffic
- Sales Conversion
- Product
In the training Ed stress over and over how important it is that things happen in this order. Without market research, there is no point in having traffic or trying to sell a product or service. Without the traffic you won’t have anyone to try and sell, and without the sales process what good is a product?
